One model, a variety of expert services

Positive Development offers personalized, tailored therapy for children and adolescents with a range of developmental differences, including autism, though autism is not a requirement for treatment. Our early intervention model encompasses speech, occupational, and feeding therapies.

Speech Therapy

Speech language therapy (SLT) focuses on increasing understanding and communication using a strengths-based approach. Sessions can target receptive and expressive language skills, articulation, social communication and play skills.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy (OT) supports children and adolescents in succeeding with daily activities by enhancing regulation, sensory processing or sensory overload, fine and gross motor skills, as well as planning, play, social-emotional development, and everyday skills.

Feeding Therapy

Positive Development offers a unique approach to feeding therapy guided by the therapeutic model - Sensory Oral Sequential Approach (SOS) to guide the treatment of your child's feeding challenges while also emphasizing a relationship-based design to the model.
